The Green Bay Packers will face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with a thin secondary, with cornerbacks Jarrett Bush, Casey Hayward and safety Morgan Burnett have all been ruled out for the game with hamstring injuries. Running back Eddie Lacy was questionable throughout the week because of a concussion sustained last week, and will not be playing this week.
NFL inactives, Packers vs. Bengals 2013: Eddie Lacy out with concussion
As expected, Eddie Lacy will not be suiting up for the Packers this week. He is recovering from a concussion.
The Packers offense could be enough to help make up for a thin secondary on the defense, averaging an NFL-leading 482.5 yards per game overall. The defense has struggled, however, getting torched by San Francisco is Week 1 and allowing more than 400 yards of offense against Washington in Week 2.
The Bengals have secondary issues of their own, with cornerback Brandon Ghee out with a concussion and cornerback Dre Kirkpatick out with a hamstring injury. The Bengals offense is has been able to move the ball with relative ease thus far this season, yet sits just 18th in points scored after failing to take advantage of a number of long drives.
