Clay Matthews injury: Packers LB questionable after injuring hamstring

The Packers have lost yet another key player as their star linebacker has been forced to the sidelines.

The injuries for the Green Bay Packers are mounting quickly. The latest casualty in Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals is All-Pro linebacker Clay Matthews, who left in the second half with a hamstring injury. His return is questionable.

Matthews joins a long list of Packers that have made early exits from Sunday's game. Tight end Jermichael Finley left in the first half after taking a shot to the head and headed to the locker room with what appeared to be concussion-like symptoms. Already playing without starting running back Eddie Lacy, the team lost backup James Starks early in the second half. He has been replaced by rookie Johnathan Franklin, the only remaining active back on the sidelines.

The Packers defense has looked strong so far, limiting the Bengals to just 207 total yards late into the third quarter. They've been especially strong agains the run, holding the dangerous duo of BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Giovani Bernard to 75 yards.
