Miami Dolphins pass rusher Cameron Wake left Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons in the first half after suffering a left knee injury.
Cameron Wake injury: Dolphins DE hurts knee, questionable to return
The Dolphins are already having a tough time containing the Falcons, so losing Wake won’t help.

Wake was subbing in and out more frequently than usual early in the game and eventually settled in on the sideline, getting evaluated by the Dolphins’ medical staff and riding on the bike.
The Dolphins later officially announced the injury as a knee injury and deemed Wake questionable to return. He was taken to the locker room but returned to the sideline later, though he looked disgruntled.
Derrick Shelby replaces Wake in the every-down linebacker role, despite talented rookie Dion Jordan being used as a situational pass rusher. Wake is the key piece to the Dolphins' defense, and against the Falcons, the Dolphins cannot afford to be short-handed.
Wake hasn’t missed a game due to injury since 2009.
