The Seahawks were favored to beat the Jaguars by almost twice as many points as the Jaguars have scored all season, but that might have been selling Seattle short. Or the Jags long. Especially if plays like this one by Bobby Wagner keep happening.
Chad Henne doinks pass off teammate’s head, leading to Seahawks interception
The Jags and Seahawks are playing the exact game you expected. This play just sums it up perfectly.
With a very important hat tip -- or should I say "helmet tip" -- to quarterback Chad Henne for boinking it off of center Brad Meester, before Wagner tips the ball to himself for the interception.
And to think, the Jaguars were actually driving into Seattle’s red zone before Henne threw the ball into Meester’s head zone.
The Seahawks were up 17-0 before this play and Russell Wilson subsequently led them down the field, hitting Sidney Rice for an 11-yard touchdown with 10 seconds left in the half. Seattle was favored by 19 points, but is already up 24-0 at halftime.
The Jags have still only scored 11 points this season. The Seahawks have only given up 10 points this year.
This play couldn’t sum the game up any more perfectly.
