The New York Giants are starting to get desperate.
Giants feeling ‘desperate’ after 38-0 loss to Panthers
It’s a tough pill to swallow, but the Giants have accepted that they are a desperate team.
After falling to the Carolina Panthers, 38-0, on Sunday, the Giants are now 0-3 this season and face an uphill battle to make the postseason. The Giants haven't started 0-3 in 17 years and haven't started 0-4 since 1987, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
Giants defensive end Justin Tuck hates to use the word "desperate," but he told Ebenezer Samuel that there's no denying that the team is in a desperate place without a win in a tough NFC.
To make matters worse, fullback Henry Hynoski suffered a fractured shoulder in Sunday's loss. Injuries and a lack of discipline have made it tough for the Giants to get off the ground early in the season.
The Giants are by no means dead in the water, but “desperate” is definitely the right way to describe this team.
