Geno Smith put together another solid performance, leading the New York Jets to a 27-20 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.

Geno Smith threw for over 300 yards and the Jets improved to 2-1.


Smith threw for over 300 yards and tossed a pair of touchdowns, both long scores, to help the Jets improve to 2-1. Smith also ran for a touchdown. E.J. Manuel attempted to lead a late comeback, but he fell just short, showing a lack of accuracy on his downfield throws.
The Jets defense once again stood tall, collecting eight sacks on the afternoon, not giving Manuel any time to get comfortable.
Fantasy Studs and Duds
Smith was a rare fantasy star on Sunday afternoon, throwing for more than 300 yards and two touchdowns and also rushing for a touchdown in the game. Santonio Holmes and Stephen Hill both rewarded the fearless fantasy footballers who put them in their Week 3 lineup. Both scored touchdowns on Sunday and went over 100 yards receiving, Holmes pacing the Jets with 154 yards.
Bilal Powell was a workhorse, rushing for 149 yards in the game. Those who plucked him off the waiver wire got a big-time performance.
C.J. Spiller was the fantasy dud of the afternoon, rushing 10 times for nine yards. The first-round fantasy football draft pick has been hit or miss early this season.
