Bears vs. Steelers score update: Chicago leading Pittsburgh 24-10 at halftime

The Bears got after Big Ben early to pull ahead on Sunday Night Football.

The Chicago Bears are well on their way to a 3-0 record after taking a convincing 24-10 lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

Jay Cutler was efficient in the first half, but it was Chicago's running game and defense that did most of the heavy lifting against Pittsburgh. Matt Forte and Michael Bush both ran for touchdowns, while Forte piled up 74 yards rushing on nine carries.

The Bears' third touchdown was of the defensive variety. Ben Roethlisberger threw an interception to Major Wright, who returned it all the way to the end zone. Meanwhile, the Bears sacked Roethlisberger twice and forced him to fumble.

The Steelers showed a bit of life at the end of the half when Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown hooked up for a touchdown to draw the Steelers within two scores of the Bears.

If Pittsburgh can continue that momentum into the second half, the Steelers may have a chance of catching Chicago in the second half. Otherwise, the Bears could be looking at a 3-0 record by the end of the night.
