The Patriots improved to 3-0 on Sunday with a convincing win over the Buccaneers, 23-3.
Buccaneers vs. Patriots 2013: New England sitting at 3-0 after Sunday’s win
The Patriots have weathered the storm through three weeks and should be encouraged by where they are.

New England has taken some heat early in the season, but each week it takes care of business and now has an undefeated record. Understandably, Patriots fans are content with the way the team is performing.
Greg Knopping of Pats Pulpit credits the defense for the early season success:
Of course, it was the defense than truly shined yet again. As a unit, they have allowed 27 points over three games to start the season. The rush defense was solid. Doug Martin managed 88 yards on 20 carries, but had to work very hard for each yard, and didn't pick up more than 11 yards on any single carry.
Tampa fans are trying to stay level-headed after a loss to one of the NFL's best teams. But some areas of the Buccaneers' loss have left some reason for concern, especially the defense and Vincent Jackson, who had some big drops.
Lee Caswell of Bucs Nation thinks Tampa will show its true colors next week against the Cardinals:
A mixed bag, but reason to hope. If the Bucs lose to Arizona next week then heads might start to roll. This is coming from a guy that has tried like Hell to keep a positive attitude about this team for the past two weeks.
