Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was unable to finish a game he started for a second consecutive week after a bruised shin forced the six-time Pro Bowler to leave Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
AFC South injuries: Andre Johnson, Ricky Jean-Francois go down in Week 3
Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson suffered a shin bruise in the team’s Week 3 loss and will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine its severity.

One week after a concussion forced Johnson out of the team's victory over the Tennessee Titans late in the fourth quarter, the wide receiver suffered the leg injury late in the second quarter in Week 3. While X-rays returned negative for his shin, Tania Ganguli of ESPN reports that Johnson will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.
Also injured in the AFC South was Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Ricky Jean-Francois, who suffered a groin injury in the team's 27-7 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. An integral part of the Colts' resurgence on defense, the loss of Jean-Francois could have an impact on the team's run-stopping prowess if he's out for an extended period of time.
For the Jacksonville Jaguars, things in the secondary went from bad to worse, as the team's already depleted secondary lost two of the only remaining veterans to concussions on Sunday. Both Dwight Lowery and Will Blackmon were forced out of the team's 45-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks after suffering head injuries.
Already without starting cornerbacks Alan Ball and Dwayne Gratz, the Jaguars had to rely on seventh-round rookie Demetrius McCray to start on one side and nickel cornerback Mike Harris to fill in for Blackmon upon his departure. Behind them, rookies Josh Evans and Johnathan Cyprien played safety for the majority of the game.
Escaping relatively injury-free in Week 3 were the Tennessee Titans.
