Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene expects to be a out a few more weeks as he works to recover from minor knee surgery he underwent last week, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean.
Shonn Greene injury: Titans RB likely out ‘for a few weeks’
Greene underwent knee surgery last week and will likely sit out a while longer as he continues to recover.

Greene, 28, had just four carries for 18 yards in the team's opener before leaving in the second quarter with a knee injury. In four seasons with the New York Jets, Greene accumulated 3,423 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns before leaving to join the Titans in free agency.
The Titans are sixth in the NFL in rushing yards, however, that is mostly because the team is second in rushing attempts. After running back Chris Johnson, quarterback Jake Locker is the team's second-leading rusher with 81 yards on 12 carries. A second back in the system more effective than Jackie Battle would likely be welcomed addition for the Titans offense.
Greene was a third-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft after an All-American season with the Iowa Hawkeyes in 2008.
