While Denver has racked up points this season, the Broncos have done most of their scoring in the second half. They didn't wait around until after halftime on Monday against Oakland, scoring three times early to take a 17-7 lead.

Peyton Manning and the Broncos are off to a hot start on Monday.


Peyton Manning and Denver got off to a good start, scoring a touchdown on the first offensive possession. Manning hit Eric Decker for a 2-yard score, Denver's first first-quarter touchdown of the season. Denver added a field goal in the first quarter and another Manning touchdown pass put Denver up 17-0.
Oakland didn't have much going on early before Terrelle Pryor hit Denarius Moore for a 73-yard touchdown. Moore broke free from a tackle and turned upfield, diving into the end zone for the score. Oakland gained 38 yards on its first four drives before scoring on the 80-yard touchdown drive.
With his second touchdown pass, Manning tied Tom Brady for the NFL record for the most touchdown passes through the first three games of a season.
