The AFC West was unable to escape the weekend without several injury concerns. None of the injuries suffered appear to be season-threatening, but a few could linger for several weeks. In particular, Terrelle Pryor’s concussion against Denver could put Oakland in even more trouble this season. Here’s the full division rundown:
AFC West injuries: Terrelle Pryor stands out among division’s biggest casualties
The AFC West was unable to get past Week 3 unscathed. Several players suffered potentially lingering injuries, including Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor.

The Broncos scored yet another impressive win Monday night, but not without some casualties. Cornerback Tony Carter and safety Duke Ihenacho both left the game with ankle injuries. Carter's went down during the first half and was replaced by rookie Kayvon Webster. Ihenacho went down in the second half. Champ Bailey was ruled out before the game leaving the Broncos' secondary very thin if all three injuries linger further into the season.
Offensive guard Jeff Allen suffered a groin injury during the second half of last Thursday's win over the Philadelphia Eagles, and his status for Week 4 is uncertain as a result. Allen did not practice Monday for the Chiefs.
Terrelle Pryor suffered a concussion during the fourth quarter of Monday night's loss to the Broncos. He was taken into the locker room after the Raiders' second-to-last drive of the game for further evaluation, though there is no word yet on his status going forward. If Pryor is forced to sit, Matt Flynn may finally get his chance to shine as a starting quarterback.
Cornerback Tracy Porter also suffered a concussion after taking a knee to the helmet from a teammate while attempting to make a tackle.
The offensive line sustained some heavy blows during Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans. Left tackle King Dunlap suffered a concussion and left guard Chad Rinehart injured his toe, leaving the Chargers without three starters up front when factoring in D.J. Fluker's absence due to a concussion.
Despite the losses, the Chargers’ offensive line acquitted itself well against the Titans. However, If Dunlap, Rinhart and Fluker miss significant playing time, it could have serious adverse effects on the Chargers’ offense.
