- The Miami Dolphins have signed free agent defensive lineman Marvin Austin. Austin worked out for the Dolphins last Thursday and will serve as depth with Cameron Wake and Paul Soliai hobbled by injuries. He was a former second-round pick for the New York Giants in 2011 and has appeared in just eight games the past two seasons.
- The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent defensive end Lawrence Guy and signed offensive tackle Xavier Nixon off the Washington Redskins practice squad. Guy appeared in nine games for the Colts last season, recording 18 tackles and a sack.
- The Dallas Cowboys have signed defensive tackle Drake Nevis and released defensive lineman Jerome Long. Nevis, a third-round pick in 2011, was released by the San Diego Chargers last week. He has 35 tackles over 14 games in two seasons. Long played on a limited basis in the first three games, failing to record a tackle.
