New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle said that he and his teammates are "not fighting for one another" to Joe Beningo and Evan Roberts of WFAN, as noted by CBS New York. He was responding to a statement made by Giants analyst and former player Carl Banks, who said that the Giants players "don't like each other."

"For better or worse, New York Giants' safety and defensive co-captain Antrel Rolle will always speak his mind ..." Rolle did say that he believes there is nobody in the locker room who dislikes someone else, but followed that up by hammering home his point that everyone there is fighting for themselves, and not for each other. “We’re all friends with one another, but are we going out there and fighting for the guy beside us?” Rolle asked, “Absolutely not.”
The Giants are 0-3, and are coming off of a humiliating shutout loss to the Carolina Panthers. That game ended with a 38-0 final score, and the Giants looked utterly helpless. Poor play on the field mixed with poor body language and that's where all this talk about bad blood in the locker room and a lack of chemistry is coming from.
Rolle didn’t suggest that the Giants were doomed or anything like that -- just that something needs to change, and change fast. He said that he doesn’t care about the future, where he’ll be next year or anything like that, meaning the focus is firmly on football. The Giants as a team need that focus desperately.
The Giants take on the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4.
