NFL picks and predictions, Ravens vs. Bills 2013: Baltimore expected to beat Buffalo on the road

The Ravens are favored on the road by nearly all of the NFL experts in Week 4 against the Bills.

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The Ravens and Bills will meet in Week 4 in Buffalo. While the road team is coming off a loss, the Bills have played their opponents tight through all three of their games this season. They will host a Ravens team that has been up-and-down on both sides of the ball, despite its 2-1 record. If E.J. Manuel can connect with wide receiver Stevie Johnson and tight end Scott Chandler, the Bills may have chance of pulling off an upset.

On the other sideline, the Ravens are looking to add a third victory to their total after dominating the Texans in Week 3. If the Ravens are to continue their success, quarterback Joe Flacco will have to start throwing more touchdown passes. While his work with wide receiver Torrey Smith has been awesome, he really has not put up a lot of points through the air. He will get his opportunity on Sunday, as the Bills' defense is suffering from several injuries.

The Ravens are listed as 3.5-point favorites on the road, but CBS Sports’ panel of experts had Will Brinson and Josh Katzowitz taking the Bills with that spread. However, when considered straight-up, Brinson and Katzowitz picked Baltimore, giving them the clean sweep. For ESPN, the 13-man panel all chose the Ravens in the AFC matchup.

The SB Nation five-man panel is split 3-2 in favor of the Ravens over the Bills in this contest.

The Bills will host the Ravens at 1 p.m. ET Sunday. The game will be televised on CBS.
