Former Vikings and Bills cornerback Antoine Winfield is interested in returning to the NFL, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson. Winfield retired in August after being released by the Seattle Seahawks during final cuts. However, per Anderson, he is working out in Houston in hopes of returning the league if he can find the right situation.
Antoine Winfield considering return to NFL
Three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Antoine Winfield may be planning a comeback to the NFL.

Winfield spent the entire offseason with the Seahawks, but was unable to make the squad. He joined Seattle shortly after being released by the Vikings for salary cap reasons. The 14-year veteran spent nine seasons in Minnesota after playing with the Bills during his first five seasons in the NFL. He is a three-time Pro Bowler and was last awarded the honor in 2010.
Winfield was recently considered one of the best nickelbacks in the league, so if he were to sign with a team, he would likely play the slot. However, at 36, his age may put him at a disadvantage when attempting to find the right situation.
