Granted, the season is still young, but the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions appear to be the toast of the NFC North this season. While the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings made the playoffs last season, both teams have shown some flaws, giving this week's matchup between the Bears and Lions early-season division implications.
The Bears are still undefeated coming off a big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. They defeated the Steelers, 40-23, and handily covered the minus-2.5 line. The Bears are 2-0-1 against the spread this season, getting a perfect 3-point cover against the Bengals in Week 1.
The Lions were favored by just one point against the Washington Redskins and managed to cover with a 7-point victory. They are 2-1 against the spread and could have Reggie Bush back this week. Joique Bell has done a fine job in Bush's absence, racking up 132 total yards against the Redskins.
