Cardinals vs. Buccaneers 2013, NFL odds and lines: Winless Tampa Bay favored at home

Despite being winless, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are slight favorites over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4.

The winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the 1-2 Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Tampa Bay is coming off its most decisive loss of the season, a 23-3 rout at the hands of the New England Patriots. Prior to that, the Bucs lost to the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints by a total of three points.

Arizona managed to win its Week 2 matchup against the Detroit Lions, but narrowly lost to the NFC West rival St. Louis Rams in Week 1 and was most recently dominated by the New Orleans Saints in Week 3.

Tampa Bay opened as 3-point favorites in the matchup, according to OddsShark. As the week progressed, the line did narrow, but only by .5 points. Tampa Bay is the home team, which usually accounts for a 3- or 4-point swing, so the oddsmakers likely consider these two teams pretty evenly matched at this point.

The over/under for the matchup is set at 40.5 points. Said total has gone under in all five of Tampa Bay’s last five games and under in 12 of Arizona’s last 18 road games.
