NFL picks and predictions 2013, Colts vs. Jaguars: Indianapolis the clear favorite against Jacksonville

Experts seem to have no doubt that the Jaguars will drop to 0-4 this week when they face the Indianapolis Colts at home.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

If the experts are right, then the Indianapolis Colts have nothing to worry about this weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Around the country, the picks appear to be unanimous: the Colts will pick up the road win while the Jaguars fall to 0-4.

The Colts are coming off their first road game of the year — a 27-7 win over the defending NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers. The newest Colt, Trent Richardson, opened the scoring with a touchdown run in the first quarter. Not that there would have been much disagreement to begin with, but the bolstered offense helped Indianapolis accrue a perfect 13/13 among ESPN's panel of experts in its Week 4 picks.

Over at CBSSports.com, everyone went with Indy as well. If Jacksonville were to defy the odds and take the Colts down, it will need to turn its play around on both sides of the ball. The Jaguars rank dead last in the NFL in run defense, and are 30th in rushing yards and 29th in passing yards.

There was no disagreement among the writers at Yahoo! Sports or here at SB Nation. Frank Schwab and Les Carpenter are both going with Indianapolis at Yahoo!, while all five SB Nation NFL writers take the Colts too.

Fans can catch this one at 1 p.m. Sunday on CBS.
