San Diego Chargers linebacker Manti Te'o is set to make his NFL debut in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. Te'o was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, for the first time since injuring his foot in August. The rookie linebacker was selected early in the second round and was expected to earn a starting role. He'll probably see a good amount of playing time provided there are no setbacks this week.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers benched quarterback Josh Freeman in favor of rookie Mike Glennon on Wednesday. Glennon, a rookie selected in the third round, will make his first NFL start. Freeman has been particularly bad this season and has led the team to an 0-3 start. The Buccaneers feel they are better than this and believe Glennon will give them a better chance to win.
The Cleveland Browns area also making a quarterback change ... to an extent. Brian Hoyer earned himself another start after leading the Browns to their first victory in Week 3. Hoyer made that start due to an injury to Brandon Weeden, but his play was good enough to keep him in a starting role, whether Weeden is healthy or not (which is still unknown).
Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson hopes to be back on the field in November. Burleson recently had surgery on his broken arm. He injured the arm in a car accident while reaching for a pizza box that was falling off the passenger seat in his car. He broke his arm in two places, and the surgery was performed on Wednesday. He leads the Lions in receptions but Calvin Johnson should overtake him due to his inactivity (and the fact that he's Calvin Johnson).
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski could play against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4. Gronkowski has been recovering from offseason back and forearm surgeries, and recently started practicing with the team. He's been missed on the field, as Tom Brady has suffered from a decided lack of dependable receivers, so it would be a big deal if he can play.
The Oakland Raiders are being investigated by the NFL Player's Association for their handling of Terrelle Pryor's concussion on Monday against the Denver Broncos. Pryor suffered a hard hit and was slow to get up, but the team did not examine him. After the game, he admitted that he had no memory of the play. This could be bad for the Raiders if anything can be proven, as the NFL has been very serious about handling concussions properly in recent years.
The Detroit Lions cut veteran defensive tackle Justin Bannan on Wednesday. To take his spot on the roster, the team claimed D'Anthony Smith off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks, according to Adam Caplan.
