Philadelphia Eagles star running back LeSean McCoy has been able to avoid the team's injury report, but still says his ankle is sore following Philadelphia's Week 3 loss to the Chiefs, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer's Zach Berman. The league's leading rusher twisted his ankle on a run in the first half of the game against Kansas City, but was able to return in the third quarter and finished with 158 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Eagles’ LeSean McCoy says ankle is sore but better
Eagles’ running back LeSean McCoy will be available on Sunday against the Broncos, but he is still feeling pain in his ankle.

The former second-round pick told Berman that he thought he broke his ankle when the injury occurred. However, upon returning to the game, McCoy ran for another 92 yards and a touchdown. McCoy said that he still felt pain in his ankle during the game, despite his impressive second-half performance.
Since McCoy is not on the injury report he will play against the Broncos on Sunday, and he said that his ankle is feeling much better due to the several treatments he has received. He currently leads the league with 395 rushing yards, 98 yards ahead of second-ranked Doug Martin of Tampa Bay. Per Berman, McCoy has rushed for more yards than the whole backfields of 24 NFL teams.
The Eagles will travel to Denver in Week 4 to face the Broncos on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. on FOX.
