Gronkowski has been listed on the Patriots' official injury report as "limited" this week, but the true injury status of players in New England is rarely known for certain. Reports emerged two weeks ago that Gronkowski could be ready for the Patriots' week three game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but that it was far more likely he'd return week four.
The Patriots are 3-0 and in command of the AFC East, but the team hasn’t really been pressured this season. Their opponents this season are a combines 3-6 on the season, with the normally vaunted offense averaging a middling 340 yards per game, and just 19.7 points per game.
Tom Brady appears frustrated by his lack of weapons. The Patriots allowed Wes Welker to leave via free agency, and chose to cut Aaron Hernandez following his arrest. It's imperative for New England to get back their star tight end to get the team's offense back on track.
