Bengals vs. Browns inactives: Leon Hall, Dre Kirkpatrick out for Cincy

The Bengals will be without three starters in their secondary against the Browns.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer will benefit from a weakened Cincinnati Bengals secondary as he makes his second consecutive start on Sunday, as Bengals' cornerbacks Leon Hall and Dre Kirkpatrick have been ruled inactive for the game.

Free safety Reggie Nelson has also been ruled out, meaning the Bengals will be without three starters in their secondary. Nelson and Hall have each two interceptions on the season between them.

Hoyer will start in place of Brandon Weeden, who is inactive with a sprained thumb. Hoyer, a career backup who has spent time with the Patriots and Cardinals, threw for three touchdowns and led Cleveland to their first win of the season last Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Here is the complete list of inactives for Sunday’s matchup:

Cleveland Browns

Quentin Groves, TE Keavon Milton, LB Jabaal Sheard, T Martin Wallace, QB Brandon Weeden, DE Billy Winn

Cincinnati Bengals

RB Rex Burkhead, CB Leon Hall, G Tanner Hawkinson, DE Margus Hunt, CB Dre Kirkpatrick, FS Reggie Nelson, G Mike Pollak
