The Tennessee Titans never left any doubt on Sunday, dominating from the opening kickoff and beating the New York Jets, 38-13, in Week 4.
Jets vs. Titans 2013 results: Tennessee dominates New York in 38-13 win
The Jets did a lot of Jets things on Sunday.
Jake Locker got the Titans off to a great start, throwing three touchdowns in the first half and keeping the offense moving at an efficient pace. He may have been playing the best football of his career when he went down with a hip injury in the third quarter. The injury did not look pretty, either.
But Sunday's game quickly turned into what the Jets were doing wrong rather than what the Titans were doing right. Geno Smith turned the ball over three times in the first half and had another awkward fumble in the second half as he tried to put the football behind his back. You could almost call it a buttfumble of sorts.
Things got even uglier late in the game with Ryan Fitzpatrick in at quarterback for the Titans. Even the refs couldn't help the Jets keep the Titans off the board.
Fantasy studs and duds
Locker was a fantasy stud before leaving with an injury. He threw for three touchdowns and 149 yards. Nate Washington also hauled in two touchdowns, pleasing whatever fantasy owners he had left.
Chris Johnson would qualify as a fantasy dud with 21 yards on 15 carries.
Injury report
Locker's injury was the most noteworthy of the day. Word on his status hasn't been available, but he was taken to the hospital for further tests on his hip. The Jets also lost Santonio Holmes to a hamstring injury. He was still making his way back from the foot injury that cost him almost all of last season.
Did they cover?
The Titans entered the game as 3.5-point favorites, according to OddsShark, so they covered the spread with ease.
