The ankle injury C.J. Spiller suffered on Sunday forced him to watch the fourth quarter from the sidelines, but the injury won't prevent him from playing on Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
C.J. Spiller injury: Bills RB should be active Thursday
Despite another ankle injury, C.J. Spiller should be able to play on Thursday.

Spiller suffered the injury during the third quarter when his ankle got caught under a defender. He received treatment on the sideline and briefly returned before limping off and sitting out the rest of the game. Following the game, Spiller said it was “going to be tough” for him to get ready to play on a short week, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN.
According to Albert Breer, Spiller said he planned to play if he could get to 80-85 percent before kickoff against Cleveland. The ankle must have responded well overnight, with Shefter citing a source who said Spiller will play on Thursday. Even if he is in the lineup, Spiller could receive a limited workload. Backup running back Fred Jackson injured his knee on Sunday and third-stringer Tashard Choice might play an expanded role against the Browns.
