The inactive lists for Thursday's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos have been sent in, which means that football is finally here. There are no real surprises on either side. Cornerback Champ Bailey was ruled out for the Broncos on Wednesday, and reserve guard Chris Kuper was listed as doubtful heading into the game.
NFL inactives, Ravens vs. Broncos 2013: Champ Bailey out for season opener
The Ravens and the Broncos have released their inactive lists for Thursday’s season opener. Champ Bailey’s absence could be bad news for the Broncos.

For the Ravens, it appears that Pernell McPhee will play, which is good news because the defensive line needs depth. Both Arthur Jones and Brandon Williams have been ruled out, giving Marcus Spears the start at defensive tackle. McPhee could also fill in at end, though he is currently listed as an outside linebacker behind Terrell Suggs.
More good news for the Ravens: tight end Ed Dickson is active, and could be a favorite target of Joe Flacco with Dennis Pitta out.
