Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey left Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans in the first quarter with an apparent right knee injury.
Maurkice Pouncey injury: Steelers center carted off with knee issue
Pouncey was carried off the field on a cart during the first quarter of the Steelers-Titans game.

Pouncey was carried off on a cart just four minutes into his 2013 NFL season, going down at the 11:02 mark of the first quarter after taking a hit to the lower leg from teammate David DeCastro. Pouncey was engaged with a Titans defensive lineman when DeCastro, a guard, dove directly into his right knee, twisting Pouncey back awkwardly.
Reports indicate Pouncey is being taken to the hospital to undergo an MRI.
The fourth-year pro was also knocked out of the Steelers’ matchup with the Titans last season when he suffered a leg injury on Pittsburgh’s opening offensive play of the game.
UPDATE:
Initial news on Pouncey’s injury doesn’t sound promising.
