The Raiders came up just shy of pulling off an upset against the Colts on Sunday, losing 21-17. The performance left the fans encouraged, though. Quarterback Terrelle Pryor had his best performance as a pro on Sunday, throwing for 200 yards and rushing for another 100.
Colts vs. Raiders 2013: Oakland, Indy fans have opposite reaction to Pryor performance
Terrelle Pryor was the topic of discussion after the Week 1 game between the Raiders and Colts.

That production left Colts fans frustrated, despite the win. Josh Wilson of Stampede Blue was not impressed by the defensive effort.
This Colts defense looked really bad today. Really bad. Yeah, we absolutely must give credit to Terrelle Pryor, who played a very good ballgame. But the Colts defense really didn’t put up much of a fight for much of the game. The pass rush couldn’t bring Pryor down. The defenders on the backside didn’t set the edge and let Pryor run wild. The secondary let too many passes complete, and uncontested at that. They looked unprepared and totally outmatched. And that’s not how it should be at all, especially after all of the moves made to improve the defense this offseason.
Obviously, Raiders fans, who entered the season with low expectations, were thrilled with the effort their team put forth on Sunday. Raymond St. Martin of Silver and Black Pride said the team was noticeably energized by Pryor’s performance.
Raider Nation, cue the Ice Cube anthem, I am here to testify for what I witnessed on the field of play today. As a fan, I was invigorated, as a witness, I saw Terrelle Pryor control the tempo, fire up his teammates and display the potential that made Al Davis sacrifice a third round pick to nab him in 2011.
