Former Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe believes he is out of the NFL because teams don't want him because of his strong beliefs regarding same-sex marriage. On Thursday night, Kluwe said that former Broncos, Jets and Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow is out of the league for his beliefs as well, albeit ones on the opposite end of the political spectrum.

Chris Kluwe and Tim Tebow have very different political beliefs, but the former Vikings punter believes they are both being held out of the NFL for speaking up.

Kluwe told ESPN’s Keith Olbermann that teams “don’t want players speaking out” and “don’t want players doing anything other than football.”
After a very successful collegiate career with the Florida Gators, Tebow gained plenty of attention in the NFL for his public Christian beliefs, including in-game prayers on a knee that became known as “Tebowing.”

Green Bay Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari and New Orleans Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis each suffered concussions during the Wild Card round and were in violation of the league's protocol for the remainder of the games. Bakhtiari went back in to the game for an extra point and Lewis sat on the sideline for the remainder of the game, while league rules state both should have gone to the locker room after sustaining the injuries. However, neither team will be punished, as both players refused to follow the advice of trainers.
Tom Gamble joined the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2013 offseason as the team's vice president of player personnel, but he might not make it to a second season. The Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have each reportedly requested an interview for their vacant general managers positions. Gamble previously spent eight seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, serving as the director of player personnel in his final season.
Oakland Raiders left tackle Jared Veldheer is set to hit the free agent market, but hopes that he can work out a deal with the team that drafted him four years ago to stay longer. Veldheer missed the first 11 games of the 2013 season after suffering a torn tricep in preseason, and represented an upgrade from Khalif Barnes when he returned to the lineup, although he didn't receive strong grades from Pro Football Focus in his return.
