Broncos vs. Patriots inactives, 2014 playoffs: Aaron Dobson in, Kenbrell Thompkins out

The rookie Dobson will be active for the AFC title game.

The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos have released their inactive lists for the AFC Championship Game. Wide receiver Aaron Dobson is active for the Patriots, while Kenbrell Thompkins is sitting out.

Dobson has been dealing with a foot injury that derailed his rookie season. He didn't play in the Divisonal Round win over the Indianapolis Colts, but returned to practice this week and was listed as questionable. He's expected to be the No. 3 receiver behind Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola. Thompkins was knocked out of last week's game with a concussion and couldn't be cleared in time.

The Broncos' inactive list is more routine. Most of their major injuries were of the season-ending variety, so there wasn't much drama on the practice reports this week. Derek Wolfe was placed on injured reserve with seizure-like syndromes.

The full list of inactives:

New England Patriots

WR Kenbrell Thompkins, OG Chris Barker, LB Steve Beauharnais, DE Jake Bequette, DB Justin Green, DT Isaac Sopoaga, TE D.J. Williams

Denver Broncos

QB Zac Dysert, RB Ronnie Hillman, DB Marcuice Cole, OG Chris Kuper, OT Vinston Painter, TE Joel Dreesen, DT Sione Fua
