Blount racked up eight touchdowns in a three-game period, including four touchdowns against the Colts to help the Patriots reach the AFC Championship Game.

Blount, 27, finished with 772 yards rushing and seven touchdowns in the regular season, including four in the last two weeks. In the postseason, he racked up 166 yards rushing and four touchdowns in a Divisional Round game against the Indianapolis Colts, but managed just six yards rushing on five carries against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
An undrafted free agent in 2010, Blount signed with the Tennessee Titans before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in September after he was waived. As a rookie, Blount racked up 1,007 yards and six touchdowns with the Buccaneers, but was given fewer carries in his second and third seasons.
He was traded to the Patriots in April for Jeff Demps and a seventh-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft that was eventually traded.
