Pro Bowl 2014 draft, Day 2: How to watch, captains, rules and more

The Pro Bowl is going to look very different this year, and we’re here to break the whole thing down.

First the first time in its history, the NFL Pro Bowl won’t be going by conferences. Instead, there will be a schoolyard feel to it with two men picking teams. Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders began to put their teams together in Day 1 of the Pro Bowl draft on Tuesday. They’ll fill out their teams with skilled players on Wednesday. with the game that will be played Jan. 26 in Aloha Stadium of Hawaii.

Day 2 of the draft will be televised at 8 p.m. on NFL Network.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and running back Jamaal Charles of the Kansas City Chiefs received the most votes for offensive players, and thus have been named captains. On defense, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and defensive end Robert Quinn of the St. Louis Rams are in that role. Brees and Watt have been paired, and were picked by Rice on Tuesday, so Quinn and Charles went to Sanders.

Each team will have 44 members, including four receivers, three tackles, two guards, two centers, two tight ends, three quarterbacks, three running backs and one fullback on offense. Tuesday, teams took care of their lines, special teams and fullback. They’ll pick the rest of their rosters today.

The Pro Bowl will be played at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii at 7 p.m. ET Sunday and televised on NBC.
