The NFL has announced that Phillip Phillips and The Band Perry will perform at the 2014 Super Bowl pregame show. The concert will be televised live on Fox as part of the NFL Tailgate Party. In addition to these two groups, a couple of Broadway acts will come to New Jersey. The cast of the musicals Jersey Boys and Rock of Ages will be performing in the pregame show

The Super Bowl pregame concert lineup is set. Phillip Phillips and The Band Perry will be playing before the big game.


Phillip Phillips is the winner of American Idol’s Season 11. He found mainstream success with his 2012 single, “Home,” which went quadruple-platinum. His debut album also contained the hit singles “Gone, Gone, Gone” and “Where We Came From.” He plans on debuting a new single during the pregame show.
The Band Perry made their mark on the country scene with their self-titled debut album in 2010. Their singles “If I Die Young” and “All Your Life” both topped the Billboard Country chart, and their latest single, “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely,” is currently No. 2.
These latest announcements cement the musical lineup for the Super Bowl. Renee Fleming is performing the national anthem and Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline the halftime show.
