Former NFL running back Brandon Jacobs had a nice career that included a Super Bowl ring won for his 2007 season with the New York Giants, but his final years weren't his happiest.
Brandon Jacobs rips into Jim Harbaugh, regrets joining 49ers
The now-retired running back says he didn’t enjoy his stay by the Bay.

His playing days were winding down last season with the San Francisco 49ers, although it doesn't appear Jacobs is thrilled about his head coach Jim Harbaugh, per WFAN radio in New York:
”I have one regret in my career and that’s going to the 49ers when I could have stayed in New York,’’ Jacobs said. “I just wanted to see what stuff was like with another team and it didn’t work out for me. I wasn’t liked, to be honest with you I thought I was held a grudge, I thought I was being held hostage because of the previous year. I got two rings, Harbaugh’s a bitch so it doesn’t matter.’’
It’s not uncommon to have a player dislike his coach, but it’s rather rare to have such a public display of the feelings. Jacobs also talked about Harbaugh trying to suspend him during the season but says it all worked out in the end, per Paul Schwartz of the New York Post.
