Super Bowl 2014: Bill O’Reilly will interview President Obama on Fox’s pregame show

The president will sit down with the host of “The O’Reilly Factor” two hours before the big game kicks off.

Bill O'Reilly will sit down with President Obama on Super Bowl Sunday, and FOX will broadcast the interview live during its pregame coverage, Fox News announced Thursday.

This will be O’Reilly’s third interview with the sitting president, the last one coming during the Super Bowl pregame show in 2011. The session will be held at the White House at 4:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 2. An additional segment will be filmed and aired the following Monday on The O’Reilly Factor.

The game, which features the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, will kick off at 6:20 p.m. ET.

While the interview likely won’t center around sports, Obama has recently made waves in the NFL community. Speaking to the New Yorker, the president discussed the league’s growing concussion problem, at one point stating that if he had a son, he would not let him play pro football.

Obama, an admitted fan of the sport, went on to defend the league, saying that players accept the risks when they sign up.

“At this point, there’s a little bit of caveat emptor,” the president said. “These guys, they know what they’re doing. They know what they’re buying into. It is no longer a secret. It’s sort of the feeling I have about smokers, you know?”
