The Denver Broncos are currently favored by two points over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium, according to Oddsshark.com.

Despite the game being in cold weather which seems to favor the defensive-minded Seahawks, the Broncos are the ones laying points. Most likely, this has to do with Mr. Peyton Manning roaming the sidelines in orange, looking for his second Super Bowl win in three tries.

The Broncos have only been a favorite once in their previous five trips to the Super Bowl. Denver was expected to beat the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl XXXIII but played the role of underdog against the Dallas Cowboys in 1977, the New York Giants in 1986, the Washington Redskins in 1987, the San Francisco 49ers in 1989 and the Green Bay Packers in 1997.

This season, the Broncos have been the favorite in every game they have played. As of Monday morning, 57 percent of the betting has been placed on Denver. The over/under for the contest is 47.5.
