Kickers Matt Prater and Steven Hauschka of the Broncos and Seahawks, respectively, made 58-of-61 field goals in the regular season and 11-of-12 in the postseason. They've been good from long distances too, hitting 9-of-10 field goals of 50 or more yards and 19-of-20 from 40-49 yards.
Super Bowl prop bets: Longest successful field goal
If you’re looking to bet on the Super Bowl, taking the under for the longest successful field goal of the game might be a good choice.

Despite the success of these two kickers though, the smart pick might be to bet on the under for the longest successful field goal of Super Bowl XLVIII. The prop bet on Bovada has the over/under for longest made field goal set at 44.5 yards.
While that’s well within the range of both Prater and Hauschka on a normal day, the weather in New York could change things up a bit. It doesn’t look as though it will be the blizzard that some feared for Super Bowl Sunday, but with forecasts in the low 30s and elevation just three feet over sea level, any field goal over 50 yards seems risky for the kicking team.
That leaves a pretty small kicking range for those taking the over, and even if the two teams settle for the kick, it still has to go through the uprights. For those reasons, the under is likely the safer bet for Sunday.
