Dan Kadar looks ahead to the 2014 NFL Draft following Week 17 and with pick Nos. 1-20 now set in stone. Watkins leaves Clemson with over 3,000 receiving yards in three years, including 1,464 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2013. He will forego his final year of eligibility to enter the draft, where he will likely be the first receiver selected in May.
Dan Kadar of Mocking the Draft currently has Watkins as the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2014 class. He has size similar to that of New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, but Kadar has a slightly different analysis of how Watkins projects in the NFL:
