UAB RB Darrin Reaves will enter 2014 NFL Draft
Reaves projects anywhere between the fourth and seventh rounds.

Reaves, the school’s third-highest all-time rusher, declared for the draft on Monday. He was given between a fourth and seventh-round draft projection by the NFL Advisory committee and is unranked in SB Nation’s list of running back prospects.
“This was a very difficult decision,” said Reaves. “I prayed a lot, and I discussed it with family a lot. When I went to church yesterday, the pastor talked about starting new adventures and taking the next step in life’s journey. That sermon really resonated with me. It helped confirm for me that I’m ready for the next stage of my career.”
Reaves led the team with 928 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in 2013. He also showed off his ability as a receiver out of the backfield, tacking on 294 yards and another two scores through the air.
