Wolfe has not played since Nov. 29 when the second-year defensive end suffered a seizure-like episode. Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports there’s still no indication when Wolfe will be able to return to action following a series of illnesses.
NFL rules mandate a player must practice for two full weeks in order to be eligible to play in a game. While Wolfe has not had a relapse of his episode, he has been kept out of practice due to the flu one day after he returned to practice on Christmas Day.
Wolfe was on pace for a career high in sacks before being forced out. The Broncos have lacked a signature pass rusher with Von Miller suffering a season-ending injury, though linebacker Shaun Phillips has helped fill the void along with defensive end Robert Ayers.
