Packers vs. Dolphins 2014: Time, TV schedule, live stream and radio

Mike McCarthy and his former assistant Joe Philbin square off for the first time on Sunday.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Mike McCarthy faces former assistant Joe Philbin for the first time when the Green Bay Packers travel to Miami to take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Green Bay looks to push their record to 4-2, while Miami needs a win just to keep their heads above water in the AFC East hunt.

After stumbling through the first three games of the season, the Packers have looked dominant in back-to-back weeks, vanquishing NFC North rivals the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings by double digits. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has regained his MVP form while the running game anchored by Eddie Lacy has finally found its footing.

Through the first five weeks of the season, Rodgers possesses the league’s second-highest passer rating (114.8). That figure comes in large part from his 12:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio, the best mark in the NFL. After averaging a middling three yards per carry, Lacy exploded in Week 5 for 105 rushing yards on just 13 carries.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins have unraveled in the weeks since their season-opening win against the New England Patriots. In large part due to comments made by Philbin, quarterback Ryan Tannehill's job security has come into question while the team slid to a 2-2 mark, a record that looks worse considering their most recent win came over the lowly Oakland Raiders.

Though he played well against the Raiders, Tannehill hasn’t performed like the franchise quarterback the team thought it was getting with the eighth-overall pick in the 2012 draft. On the year, Tannehill has completed exactly 60 percent of his passes while tossing one interception for every two touchdowns. His 5.82 yards per attempt place him 32nd overall in the NFL.
