Cowboys vs. Seahawks 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The upstart Cowboys face their biggest test of the season on the road against the Seahawks.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks hold the strongest home-field advantage in the league, losing just one game at CenturyLink Field since the start of the 2013 season. The Dallas Cowboys hope to double that amount this Sunday.

The Cowboys entered the season like they often do -- as a punch line. The team jettisoned multiple members of their defensive line, including top defensive player DeMarcus Ware. Starting quarterback Tony Romo missed the end of the previous season and part of the offseason recovering from back surgery. Team owner Jerry Jones publicly questioned 2012 top pick Morris Claiborne, creating discord in the locker room. Yet somehow, Dallas sits at 4-1 in great position for a playoff run.

Much of that is thanks to DeMarco Murray. The running back is off to a record start, amassing 670 yards on the ground and another 124 in the passing game. At his current pace, Murray will finish the year with 2,144 rushing yards, an NFL record for a single season. Receiver Dez Bryant has enjoyed plenty of success himself, compiling 376 yards and four touchdowns through five games. After a poor Week 1 performance, Romo has recovered to the tune of 979 yards, 8 touchdowns, and just two interceptions in his last 4 games.

Outside of a slight stumble in San Diego, the Seahawks (3-1) have played like the defending champs, dominating opponents on both sides of the ball. Russell Wilson has taken another step in his development, making smart decisions and tougher throws such as this beauty this past Monday. Meanwhile, the Seattle defense has held teams to 20 points or less in three of their four games.

Marshawn Lynch and the ground game, the backbone of Seattle's offense, has held up in 2014. Lynch is running at a clip of 4.4 yards per carry, tops on the team among tailbacks. Wilson and Percy Harvin have each produced big gains on the ground as well, with the former rushing for 209 yards on just 29 carries while the latter has picked up 93 yards on eight attempts.
