The Detroit Lions expect to be without running back Reggie Bush on Sunday for a Week 6 road game against the Minnesota Vikings, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Lions RB Reggie Bush out vs. Vikings, according to report
A sprained ankle suffered by Reggie Bush will sideline the Lions running back in Week 6.

Bush, 29, suffered a sprained ankle in the team's Week 5 loss to the Buffalo Bills and was listed questionable for the game, but will sit rather than test the injury further. Through five games, Bush is the leading rusher for the Lions, although he hasn't had a strong start to the year and has a career low in yards per carry. He has 161 yards rushing on 45 attempts with one rushing touchdown and 20 receptions for 142 receiving yards.
With Bush sidelined, the Lions will likely bank on the return of Joique Bell to be a successful one, as the second-leading rusher on the team missed Week 5 due to a concussion sustained in Week 4. He is listed as probably for Week 6 and will likely shoulder the load.
Still, the Lions will also likely turn to second-year back, Theo Riddick, to take an increased load on Sunday. The 2013 sixth-round pick has just six carries for 22 yards in 2014, but Rapoport highlighted the young running back as a player that the Lions hope to receive contributions from against the Vikings.
