Carson Palmer will reassume his role as the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6 after missing three games due to nerve damage suffered in the team's opener, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Cardinals QB Carson Palmer to start vs. Washington, according to report
Palmer suffered nerve damage in his shoulder in Week 1, but is reportedly ready to make his return to the lineup.

Palmer, 34, completed 24-of-37 passes for 304 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in a crisp Week 1 performance against the San Diego Chargers, but was surprisingly scratched for the team's Week 2 game against the New York Giants.
A shoulder injury suffered by Palmer caused nerve damage and the veteran quarterback had to wake for the nerve to “wake up” before he could return to action. That nerve awoke sometime this week, allowing him to “reconnect the communication between the muscles and the nervous system.”
Palmer was acquired by the Cardinals prior to the 2013 season, in which he led the Cardinals to a 10-6 record with 4,274 yards passing, the third-most in a season in franchise history. During his injury, Palmer was replaced by Drew Stanton, who managed to lead the team to a 2-1 record.
