Sorry St. Louis, but everybody is counting you out. The one-win Rams, still looking for consistency under center and an answer in run defense, host the 3-2 San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football, and they're a near-unanimous underdog in the major NFL expert polls.
49ers vs. Rams 2014 picks and predictions: San Francisco overwhelming favorite
Everybody’s on the Niners ... except for one brave soul who dares to predict a tie.

All of the experts at ESPN, all of the experts at Fox Sports, all of the experts at CBS Sports and six of the seven experts at SB Nation are going with the 49ers in this game. In total, 37 of the 38 panelists are predicting a St. Louis loss.
The one man brave enough to stand against that overwhelming tide of naysayers? Our very own PFT Commentator, who, true to his contrarian nature, is predicting a tie. Yes, a tie.

Note that three of the CBS experts believe it will be a close game, picking the Rams to cover the 3.5-point spread. Senior columnist Pete Prisco sees a 20-13 Niners win, explaining it as follows:
The 49ers are back on track with their running game. The Rams have had big problems stopping the run, ranking 29th in the league. Frank Gore will have success running it. I can't see the Rams offense with Austin Davis being able to move it much on the 49ers.
