Last week, it was Rob Gronkowski claiming, "Tom Brady [looked] like Tom Brady again," after his quarterback bounced back from a rough start and a week full of criticism with vintage showing against the Cincinnati Bengals. This week, it was Brady's turn to announce his teammates return to form.
Tom Brady: ‘Rob Gronkowski is back’
The injury-maligned tight end drew praise from his quarterback after showing ability -- and more importantly, durability -- during a big win over the Bills.

"Oh yeah, [Gronkowski] is back," Brady told ESPN after the tight end tallied 94 yards on a season-high seven receptions to help fuel a division win over the Buffalo Bills. "Absolutely."
The numbers were impressive, but the more promising aspect of Gronkowski’s big game was his durability. He took several hard shots but played through them -- a heartening development for a player who was limited to just seven games with a variety of injuries last season.
“They were giving me some lickings,” Gronkowski said. “All you can do is get right back up and get right back in the huddle and go on to the next play. It’s part of the game and sometimes I like getting lit up.”
Through four games, the resilient Gronkowski has tallied 26 receptions for 346 yards and four touchdowns, putting him in the top five among NFL tight ends in all three of those categories. He’s already matched his scoring total from a season ago and needs just 252 yards to pass his 2013 yardage total.
Brady’s glad to have his big target back in prime condition.
“He’s a great player and he’s playing great. So it’s great for a quarterback,” Brady said. “I have a lot of confidence in him, I love playing with that guy. Great to be out there with him.”
