The 49ers are dealing with big-time injuries on both sides of the ball, but they were able to keep pace in the crowded NFC West. For now, that’s all that matters.

The 49ers are already dealing with a number of injuries on defense, but there might not be a bigger absence than that of Willis. Needless to say, San Francisco can’t afford many more losses, as nearly every area of the defense is being stretched to its limit.
