Fred Jackson will miss the rest of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings after suffering a groin injury, the Buffalo Bills have announced. Jackson went down in the first half on a non-contact play, and had to be helped off the field by a teammate. He was carted into the locker room after being inspected by trainers.
Fred Jackson suffers groin injury, out vs. Vikings
Fred Jackson is out for the rest of Sunday’s game after suffering a non-contact groin injury.

The rushing load will be shouldered by C.J. Spiller and Anthony Dixon, who are more than capable of being productive. They will play behind an offensive line missing two starters, however. Center John Sullivan and right guard Vladimir Ducasse were ruled out with injuries before the game.
Jackson had just 12 yards on three carries before leaving the game. There hasn’t been much offense by either team in Sunday’s game, with the Vikings holding a 3-0 lead midway through the second quarter. There have been 160 yards of combined offense thus far.
The Bills' offense has yet to get on track this season. A swap of Kyle Orton for EJ Manuel at quarterback has helped some, but points have still been hard to come by.
