Darren Sproles, now with the Philadelphia Eagles, told NJ.com that he felt "disrespected" by the New Orleans Saints, as well as head coach Sean Payton and the Saints' front office. Among his grievances is the fact that he found out that he was going to be traded to the Eagles via Twitter.
Darren Sproles says he felt ‘disrespected’ by Saints, learned of Eagles trade over Twitter
Darren Sproles says he was disrespected in New Orleans. Among his grievances, the running back said that he found out about his trade to the Eagles over Twitter.

“So I really haven’t been in contact with anyone there since I left,” Sproles said. “I really haven’t paid attention to what they’re doing. I’m more focused on what’s happening here.”
Sproles’ current team is doing much better than the one he left. The Eagles are 3-1, and Sproles has featured prominently, gathering 319 yards combined rushing and receiving and two touchdowns on 34 total touches. The Saints, meanwhile, are 1-3 through four games, and have a strong case to make as the most disappointing team through the first quarter of the season.
When Darren Sproles was asked if he saw that his former team lost in a blowout to the Dallas Cowboys, he reportedly grinned. "Oh yeah," he said. "I saw that."
