The Chicago Bears lost to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, and wide receiver Brandon Marshall wasn't happy about it. The five-time Pro Bowler voiced his frustrations with the media following the loss, just after he reportedly yelled at some of his teammates in the Chicago locker room, including quarterback Jay Cutler.

Marshall called the team’s record and its offensive production on Sunday “unacceptable.”

Marshall, 30, wouldn’t get in to the specifics of his locker room tirade, but did make it clear that he believes the team’s 3-4 record is unacceptable, as was the team’s lack of offensive production on Sunday.
In Chicago’s three wins in 2014, the Bears offense has managed to tally 27 points or more. In each of the team’s four losses, the unit has failed to eclipse 24 points.
"Same mistakes, same mistakes, same mistakes," Marshall said. "We've got to protect the football. We've got to protect the football. We've got to execute the game plan. We've got to adjust when things don't go as we saw on the film. We've got Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett, Matt Forte. We've got a stud offensive line. We've got a great, great group of guys, and this is unacceptable. What did we put up, 14 points? Was it 14 points? That's unacceptable."
Marshall finished Sunday with six receptions for 48 yards, but he stressed the team needs to avoid turnovers. Cutler was credited with three turnovers Sunday, as the quarterback threw an interception and two of his three fumbles resulted in giveaways.
In the team’s three victories, Cutler hasn’t recorded a single turnover, but in the four losses, he has seven combined interceptions.
Head coach Marc Trestman stressed to the team in the locker room to relax and stop trying to do too much, according to Sports Illustrated’s Peter King:
“We have to have everyone take a deep breath.”

But inside the locker room, before it was opened to the press, anger spilled out for outsiders to hear. “Do your job!” was one of the milder ventings.
Marshall has a close relationship with Cutler, and ESPN's Michael C. Wright noted that it isn't out-of-the-ordinary for the two to butt heads from time to time. However, it was reportedly believed that Marshall also lashed out at kicker Robbie Gould, although the wide receiver declined to confirm as much.
“OK, were you in here?” Marshall asked. “Were you in this locker room? This is a team matter. That has nothing to do with you.”
Next up for the Bears is a trip to play the New England Patriots in Week 8 before a bye in the subsequent week. The Patriots rank 12th in points and yardage allowed, and have forced the second-most turnovers in the NFL through the first seven weeks.
